Maureen Winterbottom - Receptionist / Insurance Admin
Maureen has been at Swanzdale Vets since March 2010. She was first a client, then was fortunate enough to be offered the job as a receptionist. Maureen says she was so lucky, and although having many different jobs in England and Saudi Arabia, this job was by far her dream job. She loves our clients and seeing their pets growing up!
Since starting Swanzdale, she have moved a bit away from reception work to helping with insurance work for our lovely clients.
Maureen has always had pets, as a child, she had snakes, tortoises, rabbits, fish and a little dog. When she was in Saudi Arabia she had 2 cats that were born to ferral cats on her compound. When Maureen came back to England she got the lurchers, and another deerhound. They have unfortunately gone over the rainbow bridge, but she now has 2 lovely big dogs, Seth and Angus. Maureen loves taking them to places where they can stretch their legs and run, so fast, and graceful. Maureen describes them as her gentle giants.
Maureen’s hobbies are walking the dogs (obviously goes without saying!!) cooking, entertaining at her lovely home and bringing in food for all of her lovely work colleagues. She also likes to loose herself in a good book, with a glass of wine and some nibbles when she can have a bit of chill out time.
